Looking Back at 2010 - Q2

 Spring was busy, busy, busy.

Photos that remind me there are many projects still in the state of "in progress".  Luckily I'm still loving all these fabrics so no worries that I'll be tired of working with them. :)

Easter was wonderful this year; with lots of great pictures to remember it by:

Love that I've taken pictures of the everyday things.  Love having a record of the little things she's loved.

Lots and lots of walks last spring.  Ada's always sure to point out the birds and puppies we see along the way.

Looking Back at 2010 - Q1

Wow; looking back I can't believe how much can change in a year.  It's bittersweet seeing how much Ada's grown since last January.

A year ago she was crawling around and trying to pull herself up on everything.  These days she's running, screaming, and dancing around the house.  Her hair also amazes me; it has really grown in the last 6 months or so.  Oh yeah - she hadn't learned the word "no" yet either.

December Daily 2010

It's that time of year again. I've started my December Daily album. For those who haven't heard about this project, you can read more on Ali Edwards' blog here.

I didn't actually start working on the album until a few days into December.  Usually I have the foundation pages ready to go before December 1, but it just didn't happen this year, and that's ok.  I have been keeping notes on what's been happening each day, and taking pictures, so that I can go back and complete those first few pages.

In past years I've created the foundation pages and attached a number for each day.  This year I just focused on getting the papers together and cut, and will add the numbers throughout the month.  I also decided to not over-think things and just picked papers out, cut them, punched holes, and called it good.  I'm happy with it, and it took a lot less time, being all done in just 2 short afternoon sessions.
