A couple of Sundays ago we looked out a back window of our house and saw a large brown ball at the top of one of our cottonwood trees. After a few seconds I realized what I was seeing and we ran for the camera. Chris captured some great shots:
That is amazing! I am so glad to be living in the (almost) country. We would never get to see turtle nests, blue herons and bald eagles in St Louis Park or Minnetonka.
I was impressed by the beak on that thing.
